Pole Shift

A movement in the Earth's poles. What confuses me is; which poles? Magnetic poles or rotational poles?

If there is only movement in magnetic poles, the effects might not be so bad, if there is movement the rotational poles then the effect could be devastating. Then there is the possibility that a movement in the magnetic poles could trigger movement in the rotational poles; bad news.

There is, unfortunately, little information on this subject. It is known (and stated) that it has happened before. It is known that the Arctic regions were once tropical, or at least warmer than now. I have seen one "story" about where the poles could end up; it had California near a new Arctic Circle. That would make it quite cold in San Francisco.

The problem, again, is that there seems to be little work published on this. Though, what I have seen indicates that some of the global warming could be attributed to a slow pole shift. It is logical to presume that if something like this occurs that there will be a melt off of current polar ice and the resulting weather changes and wide spread flooding. There should also be earthquakes and volcanic activity at higher levels. These are things we are seeing now.

The prophecies of the Bible and Bible Codes seem to indicate that the Earth will stop rotating for a day. I personally don't see this, but it does raise questions; science needs to address this.
